Upper Kent (French: ''Haut-Kent'') is a major centre in Carleton County, New Brunswick. With a thriving population of around 100. Mayor Ben Dover recently announced the community is exploring the possibility of attracting an NHL expansion franchise. It has also been announced that the council is considering a bid for the 2052 winter olympic games.
